As a result of my WRMC experience I sought help at Allevient. My record shows that I had a "mental episode" right before Christmas, 2024 (How is your disposition at the holidays?) My "Lost Half Day" came at the end of a four day fast. (At 75, I do not do that anymore.)
I know better than to say, "I'm not Crazy!" I will defer to my Therapist who cleared me. If ReformARHospitals
Perhaps it's my 29 years in Chicago, but I have come to wonder who invests in a cab company in 2025? Is it someone practiced in the art of deception? Something ls Failing the Sniff Test.
On October 3, 2023, At noon - an usual discharge time - I was assaulted by the TAXI DRIVER who was called to the hospital by Washington Regional Medical Center. I did not need a cab. It had been 28 hours since my heart procedure. The cab arrived near 12:00, two hours late, a reason for the driver to be agitated by a longer than thought "extra" trip.
On the driveway, I glanced toward where I had left my car. It was gone. I walked a few car lengths closer to be sure. Upon turning back, Nurse Sarah was sobbing. She told her supervisor that TAXI DRIVER cursed her for not having his voucher. He saw me, put the cab in gear and sped toward me.
The man who turned out to be the Driver/Owner said his first words to me, "No voucher, No ride. I don't give no free rides."
My reply was, "I am not a party to your contract with the hospital." That should have been enough, but he went on about his MONEY. He could have called his WRMC contact, but chose to argue with his fare... the affected person he was there to serve.
We talked over each other for fewer than 10 to 20 seconds until the cabbie hit the gas. Suddenly, the tires screeched and the taxi stopped only one car length away. TAXI DRIVER made moves any situationally aware person would see as threatening.
With his head DISAPPEARING for a Weapon, He FLUNG his door open, PUTS OUT his foot to frighten me, a first time heart patient. TAXI DRIVER intended to hurt me. He behaved recklessly. I want justice. I don't need his money.
WRMC has performed no training that had any effect. How does anyone who fails to see a septuagenarian male exit a hospital too ill to drive, disabled by a bionic foot and an arm in a sling, continue to collect disbursements from WRMC?
My first plan was to Sleep On It. The next day, I contacted the TAXI DRIVER.

I would appreciate hearing from you or the manager who will be handling the incident that occurred at Washington Regional Hospital on 10/3/23 at mid-day. You should easily be able to check the cancelled call.
[The rest of my letter details my accusation of an assault after we argued only briefly. He started to drive away, then screeched to a stop, opened his door and put out his foot before fleeing the scene.]
Had the TAXI DRIVER left his cab, I could not have run away. I depend on my prosthetic left leg to walk gingerly. The TAXI DRIVER, at the least, did not think that I might have just had heart surgery. My only request has never come close to a lawsuit. It has been consistent. I want an apology and a promise YOU will treat patients better. Especially handicapped, elderly patients, but even YOU and YOUR LOVED ONES!

Email #2 My second email repeats my earlier charge with arguments against his position. His response this time has a totally different tone.
The Con Man was "concerned " about safely getting me home. No mention of cameras this time. His story changes. He even offers a “free” make-up ride.
By the miracle of AI or perhaps after "Lawyering Up," Taxi Driver attained the competent punctuation skills of a sixth grader. The poor guy was confused about his contract regarding vouchers while I "Wondered" around the parking lot.

Needless to say, I eschewed.
The TAXI DRIVER's reviews spawn his threats. Anyone who dares to file a negative review or a direct complaint against him is met with a vengeance. He has never heard of the great American tradition that The Customer Is Always Right.
With me, he changes his story. The excuse is his need to focus on money, even offering me a "free ride" to make up for his "confusion." His video recording of me will be offered and demanded six times, but he always fails to produce it.
The key question is, Did lawyer Spruell get fooled by a doctored video? Did WRMC's security cameras show a differing tale? You mean the house cameras weren't viewed. Why do NWAers pay for them?
The regular choice for a taxi is a coward and liar and Kristy Spruell champions him to the point of ignoring me, the subject of TAXI DRIVER's attack. To stop my campaign would be to stop seeking justice. I am not going to be a victim. I will not knowingly accept that this is the normal way to handle a serious complaint.
His next series of emails had the usual threats of an Arkansas adult who does not know why Assault and Battery are two separate words. Nor does he know difference between a a criminal and a civil matter.
My next move was to alert WRMC of my situation plus what I learned from public records and phone calls with the TAXI DRIVER's competition. Last summer of '25, my use of Artificial Intelligence began in earnest. Most of what turned up had already been filed; I now have verification.
The key question is, Did lawyer Spruell get fooled by a doctored video? Did WRMC's security cameras show a differing result? Due to sloppiness, disinterest or the failing of your choice, I am more likely to be held accountable for my reasonable approach, than someone who flew off the handle, and will again.
Either WR has the latest in security technology or why does it not? You mean the WR cameras weren't viewed? Why do NWAers pay for them? There are people who seem to be around every time money changes hands. New equipment is a nursery for Waste, Fraud and Abuse.

It is common for taxi companies to change names, especially if they are trying to rebrand or disassociate themselves from a past reputation. It's possible that with Xxxxxxx Taxi getting predominantly negative reviews, rebranding would be understandable.

Maybe Spruell never saw a tape. I have yet to find out. Taxi Driver is unencumbered and so is Kristy. It looks like the only person in jeopardy is me. I will wear that like a medal.
At 75 and a half, even I can cut five seconds off the end of a video to hide either an attempted battery or a "Fake" to make me think the worst. TAXI DRIVER had an evil, negligent, reckless thought and acted on it. To Kristy Spruell, as Stevie Wonder has said, "You haven't done nothin'.
Kristy, have you must have checked the expensive WRMC security cameras, But that would be Common Sense.
Most parents and their friends and family predict that someday their clever, little daughters would enjoy a highly responsible position. The others petered out, but not you. Everything came easy for you.
Nothing is hard for you, Kristy, so let's cut to the climax. It's Easy. You can find the same actual horrible reviews I have seen for TAXI DRIVER and with a little effort you will find his many phony reviews posted by him and his employees. Who can't recognize the same illiterate speech pattern and a mind infected by the logic of a psychopath?

Obsession is my woody second preference. Joop has the scent of "expensive enough for me." I can't find anything on your politics, but I doubt you could pull off the woman's version. It smells of MUSK.
5. Apologize and Promise to treat Handi-Capped Seniors with Respect.
6. Acknowledge that I have never made any attempt to sue for, demand obtain or coerce for anything of value from of WRMC.
7. You need to be more transparent about WR complaints.
Healthcare fraud and abuse: Washington Regional has a corporate compliance plan to address concerns regarding fraud, waste, and abuse in billing and medical practices, such as billing for services that were not medically necessary.
The Plan directly addresses my contention that a taxi was not necessary. I drove home five minutes after being stranded by your only taxi service.
My new cardiologist, Dr Michael Green of NWMC and Arkansas tells me WRMC's Boris Bogomilov, MD from Bulgaria, should and could have implanted a permanent routine pacemaker and kept me no more than two nights, not four. That's the public wasting $2,000 at the direction of THE PERSON allegedly in charge of finding waste.
It turns out the two doctors clash. Imagine that?
TAXI DRIVER will soon have no assets. He will be driven out of business by UBER, LYFT, TSLA, WAYMO, RIVN, Polestar, RIDE, BYD, LI or NIO or by assaulting the wrong guy. Whatever brand Jerry Jones decides will best serve his one-time home and Alma Mater will have TAXI DRIVER looking for employment. Tick-tock.
(There are people lawyer Spruell affects that are happy living within their means. Not all complaints come with a law suit.)

After my doctor called to drive myself to the emergency room at WRMC, I had a pacemaker install and spent the next four nights in their Intensive Care Unit.
Once discharged I was deemed unable to drive myself home 28 hours after anesthesia. WRMC said a ride home was "On the House," but retrieving my car would require an UBER at $30 and another hour before lying in my own bed.
Kristy Spuell wrote saying I received a voucher. WRONG. If I had, I would toss it. call WR Security, Find where cars parked for four nights are kept, and Drive myself home. Done.
After two years, WRMC refuses to acknowledge the facts I have found and presented to them.
WRMC Cardiologist Boris Bogomilov installed a temporary pacemaker then kept me for four nights rather than two as confirmed by my new NWMC cardiologist.
Dr Green told me that Dr Bogo should have:
1. Pushed back his dinner reservation. (This was actually my eventual thought. I'm not only a comic, I have played one on TV.) And...
2. Installed a permanent heart regulating device. And
3. At my first exam, after a full year, I attempted to ask Dr B about my family history.
My grandfather's bar on the South Side of Chicago was robbed by Al Capone gangsters in 1933. He died of a Brain Aneurism.
Dr Boris Ilyich Bogomilov waved his hand six inches from slapping my face. "That was so long ago."
I replied, "Yes, doctor, that's why it is called HISTORY.
He rushed away. I made eye contact with his Physician's Assistant. I gave here my typed notes five minutes earlier. The last item was Family History. She was nonplussed; shrugged her shoulders and said, "I guess he's done," and chased after her boss.
After a full year, he refused to discuss my family heart history. I think he was warned not to say anything linking my grandfather's brain aneurism to being mugged at the hospital steered by Kristy Spuell.
I do not seek money from anyone. If you field as many actual lawsuits as Spruell does, everyone looks like a litigant.
My five doctors, family and friends, and dozens of random people know my never-ending story to hold the TAXI DRIVER accountable and check his FTC violating online activity is there for all to see.
NO ONE HAS EVER THOUGHT I WAS NOT DISRESPECTED and Might Have SUFFERED SERIOUS HARM.

Let us compare Larry Shackleford, CEO of WRMC at a Salary of $1 million annually, with no doubt the usual perquisites and that of Gianrico Farrugia's $4.5 at Mayo rated #1. J Larry's MDs total 425 with Beds at 500. Gianni oversees 7,500 MDs and 3,000 Beds. With 1/6 the Beds and 1/8 the Doctors, How does J Larry make 1/4 of #1's salary?
And Gianni is a doctor, J Larry is a bean counter with friends in Ivory Towers. J Larry hired Lawyer Kristy Spruell away as Walmart's Compiance Officer and all he had to do was double her salary to $450,000. She's asking for a half million dollars.

It sounds like you just handed me a reason. My case has never been resolved. Nurse Sarah has not been interviewed. Neither has the ICU supervisor who heard the F bomb charge by Sarah. She also decided I was instantly well enough to drive myself home since the TAXI DRIVER has an exclusive deal.
Can a hospital ban anyone from their ER? Let's ask a competent chief compliance officer when we find one. It is most definitly not the publicity hungry current occupant. Would an attorney write such drivel unless she was trying to attact attention to herself?
If the hospital must take my emergency case, and my treatment goes awry, am I then banned from complaining about legitimate concerns to the compliance department? What lawyer will argue that case? It seems so 1970ish. So last century.

At the end of the incident, Kristy's favorite thug pops his door open as if he's coming out to fight me.
For the record, again, I have no interest in suing anyone, or in money coming from WRMC, The Thug's Rip Off Cab company, Boris Bogomilov, or from anyone else. To the contrary, I am inviting my adversaries to sue me.
From the very start, I wanted an apology and promise to do better from the Taxi Driver. Don't waste your time trying to figure it out. You are already more careful than you used to be. Do you reqally want to support a guy who edited his video to fool you?
The Taxi Driver had motivation to edit a tape to maintain his WRMC income stream. I have no motivation worth concocting a complex lie all taking place in fifteen or so seconds from start to finish.
My story has never waivered. Back the Taxi Driver and you are calling me a liar with a fantastic story. Give me a break. Ask three or four of the Con Man's competitors their opinions. They will curl your hair with Dickson Street stories.
Your Words, Kristy: "There is nothing I can do, now or then, to resolve your dispute with a TAXI DRIVER." That is so blatant it is easy to state, You are a liar.
Does this mean you can't train, discipline, bannish, sanction, vet, guide, or improve our situation? Then why in the hell do we pay you so much? It is not for what you know, it is for having you take responsibility. KRISTY SPRUELL, you are SHIRKING YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.
Spruell: "You were provided a voucher." Kristy, WRMC provides vouchers to contractors-not patients.
Are you really an attorney? Does Handsome J Larry, the Million Dollar Man, agree with your definition of a "contract?" Are you just pretending or do you really screw up on basic stuff?
WRMC calls the Taxi Driver, WRMC has a staffer, Sarah, walk me to the main drive in order to meet the Thug Taxi Driver, No money changes hands until WRMC credits the Taxi Driver account per his vouchers total. How is this not a meeting of the minds? This is a contract.
Taxi Driver over-reacts because this is not the first time he thinks he will be underpaid. He has no idea that WRMC has revenues of close to $450M and close to the same number of beds. The correlation looks like $1,000,000 per bed to me, but bean counting is not my lane. Observations are.
None of this is my idea. If he is reasonable, he allows me to state my wish to verify Security has my car. Instead, I get frustrated enough to scream, "Get out of here." Here, the video ends and the assault by your personal Luigi Mangione begins. If you think otherwise, explain the acute favoritism? Maybe you're fixated.

I have received your numerous emails and I am aware of your website. This is the only response you will receive from me.
- You left a voicemail on the Washington Regional Medical Center (“WRMC”) Compliance hotline on November 8, 2023 requesting an email address to submit a complaint. On November 9, 2023, I emailed you at this address and provided the compliance@wregional.com email address. I did not receive any additional communication from you until January 5, 2025.
- WRMC provided a taxi voucher to get you home after your procedure. We do not own the taxi company and we do not employ the TAXI DRIVER. Your issue with the TAXI DRIVER does not involve WRMC, the WRMC Compliance office or any WRMC employee.
- Your fixation on me is unhealthy and misplaced. There is nothing I can do, now or then, to resolve your dispute with a TAXI DRIVER.
- You no longer have an ongoing patient relationship with Washington Regional Medical System. Therefore, there is no reason for you to continue to contact me. Do not contact me again. If you feel the need to continue to engage with WRMC, you can contact Andy Cozart at acozart@wregional.com.
